Stainless Steel Staircase Handrails

Stainless steel Staircase handrails or balustrading has seen stainless steel become increasingly popular in particular Stainless steel spiral stairs. We have worked with stainless steel for the last 20 years and this increased demand has seen Allbend develop stainless steel into one of our specialities.

Stainless steel buff polishing

Stainless steel buff polishing is an area of expertise we have developed which really enhances the life and lustre of stainless steel handrails and balustrades. Our custom built stainless steel letterboxes are a shining example of how this can add value and prestige to the front of your home or business premises.

When considering what style of stainless steel balustrading will add that finishing touch to your home or business, your most useful guide, like that old real estate adage, is location, location, location. To illustrate, your house with a balcony overlooking the ocean wants a balustrade that does not encroach upon your view. Here, the aptly named 'seaview' is perfect because the glass infill panels give you unrestricted view while as well as superior safety where children are concerned.

On the other hand, if you would like a more nautical theme for your outdoor living area then perhaps the 'Nautica' is more suitable. It still retains the feeling of wide, open space with the super thin 3mm cables, whilst keeping the costs to a minimum. If you are looking for a more modern style that lasts then the 'Oceana' might tickle your fancy, with it's huge versatility and contemporary designs it will look great and keep on doing so for years to come. Other things to consider when designing your balustrading are legal issues which ensure that your balustrading safe. Everything manufactured at Allbend Engineering is made to the relevant safety codes.

Only the best materials are used when manufacturing our balustrading, relevant to location of course.

If you live on the coast which most of us living in Western Australia do, you will be looking for low maintenance high corrosion resistant materials. Only 316 marine grade S/S is used for all external applications, and other passivating or Stainless steel electropolishing techniques may be used to further increase the resistant properties. When dealing with Internal Balustrading where the Stainless Steel is not subject to the elements and in no risk of corrosion, we use 304 furniture grade. Looking no different to 316 Stainless Steel the only place to find a difference between the two is in the price.

These are but a few of the designs available here at Allbend Engineering. Of course, we are also more than happy to customise any of our standard designs to better suit your needs, or to build something unique from your own design. Just call in, phone or fax and our staff will be pleased to help you add that perfect finish to your dream home or that up-to-the-minute edge to your business.
